We caught Tristan in Australia long enough to get his comments about Green Magazine TV and it's broadcast on The Discovery Channel. Tristan confirmed that more episodes have been ordered. Still in his native Australia on holiday, Tristan said filming schedules would be arranged upon his return to the States.
Though catching a good wi-fi signal has been a source of some frustration, Tristan has managed to keep us abreast of his goings-on Down Under by posting on his Twitter.
Going to an Errol Flynn memorabilla show on Sunday. One of his daughters will be there.
You know you've been away awhile when you get lost in your home town..
One thing stands out since I started watching Australian and UK television and that is.........
they don't seem to be as "age-phobic" as the US product.
I'm on Facebook?????
Tristan even caught up with himself just long enough to discover he was his own imposter. OK. Private joke. Note to Tristan: "Yes, you do you have a Facebook. When we say one of your friends sent you an email on your Facebook, this is the place we mean. Tristan's facebook. Ahem. Carry On."
He commented in an email to us, "Not able to film as much as I had hoped," because of a sore throat. Jet lag from flying halfway around the world and going from a desert environment to a cold, wintery climate in a single day can do that kinda thing to a fellow. Feeling much better a few days later, he commented, "I'm having a blast."
Melbourne to Sydney and now back in Melbourne again, Tristan twittered, "Sydney has thousands of places to drive to. But nowhere to park. Sydney restaurant food is A+. Service...not so good. The harbour has a magical quality to it. this town is a mess of toll roads. if you pay taxes why a toll to drive on the road??? Love Melb hospitality. The wine is scrumpious."
Tristan also gave us permission to give you this little behind the scenes look at the filming of Green Magazine TV.
This was a pilot/presentation I shot for a spot on Discovery Channel. Have no idea where it stands right now but it was interesting doing it. One thing. I'll be a lot more enlightened when I finish it. Cheers Tristan
