NightShift......so far.
We are now two shows into the series and the news is all positive. Oh yeah, say some? From a business standpoint yes. The figures are positive even if all the comments are not. My only desire is that you give this a chance. It is not the same animal as NS1 was. It has been put together in a different way. How is that, say some?
Well the premise is quite simple. It's about .......a hospital. The action, situations, drama and relationships are all centered around, for the most part, medical issues. We do not bring in anything else. And why should we? All manner of health related problems are a large part of life, with plenty of material available for a TV show. If this was not so hundreds of medical shows would never have happened.
And so it was with this in mind that the producers and writers set about developing NS2.
My character is as "kick ass" as ever. It's just that the situation is different. He isn't trying to save the world, just himself. And he needs some help.
The family dynamic is also different. Father, daughter; doctor, patient.
My mantra in the business is that "I seek to entertain". If at the end of the show you can't wait for next week, I've succeeded.
As ever I look forward to your comments.

Tristan, I'm excited about what's in store! I'm glad to hear that your character is as "kick ass" as ever. I believe in the coming previews I heard "filthy bastards". If Robert could have used those words in daytime years back I'm sure he would have. I can't wait to for the entertainment to begin!

Keep smiling!!

Adding my two cents too-

I'm loving Night Shift 2 so far & the previews for next week gave me chills. I'l looking forward to bad-ass big daddy Scorpio & the whole family dynamic on NS2. From the first episode on, I could tell that this season of NS was worlds away from season one & having Robert on the show if ising on the cake.

I simply can't wait, Tristan. I have my box of Kleenex ready. I'll be a blubbering idiot before the show is over, I just know it.

Seeing you and Kimberly together again just gave me giddy goosebumps in the previews.

Bring it on Night Shift !! Is it August 5th yet?

LOL! Buck!

I can't wait either Tristan, even the promo makes me look like a blithering and crying idiot, but I don't care, I have missed my Robert and his daughter too much not to be supported by my box of tissue.32690724

5 days and counting, I can't wait!

RE: NightShift......so far.
Thank you for posting Tristan !!! NS2 is wonderful so far and after I watch each show I can't wait for the next one to air. I can't remember the last time I have felt that way about a TV program. Robert and Robin were always my favorite father-daughter team and I am really looking forward to seeing both of you together again next week on Night Shift!!

Moderation in all things, is the key.
