As the revolving doors of Llanview keep spinning like so many whirling dervishes, we have some news for you about what characters are sticking their thumbs out to hitch a ride out of town, and who's booking tickets to ride back in.
So let's get the bad news out of the way first by telling you who's leaving. First up is word that Latin seductress Vanessa Montez (Jacqueline Hendy) gets deported back to Colombia once Cristian cuts her loose on Thursday, February 26th. But her step-daughter Lola (Camila Banus) will be sticking around town with her father Ray (A Martinez) to cause some trouble for Langston and Markko.
In even sadder news, that charming rapscallion David Vickers (Vickeroshi? Buchanan?) hops the next flight to Los Angeles on Monday, March 2nd, to pursue his acting career. He begs Dorian to join him, but she's got her hands full in Llanview. But he'll be back soon, we hear -- so fear not, Tuc Watkins fans; David will be rejoining the party.
Now for something a little bit more uplifting. Little birdies behind the scenes tell us that the writers are very excited for the Friday debut of young Destiny, a new friend and foil for Matthew Buchanan. She'll be getting all involved in his business, and word on the street is that she's lots of fun. She'll be played by newcomer Shenell Williams.
And, as we reported earlier, several members of the Gannon clan are coming back to Llanview this April. So not only can we report the news that Hank and his daughter Rachel are coming home, but so is Hank's brother R.J. Gannon (Timothy D. Stickney). What are they all doing in town? Well, we can't quite tell you that yet, but rest assured, it will be a shocking event that calls for the family to close ranks. Expect RJ to cross with some old friends. It's good stuff.
