Now I think these are the ratings for the Laura return and Scrubs faux wedding. Let me go find what was on that week.
LOL. You see? Up down. Very funny.

You know I'm always happy to entertain you, Jim. The only part of it I find remotely interesting is the comparison of ratings to what particular story is running. It's how I amuse myself. More particularly in comparing the extra expenditure of stunt casting to resultant rise or fall of ratings. First, though, I must confirm that this is the week of ratings that I want. But yeah, I'm really happy to see a rise, even temporary, in the ratings, especially a daily back at 2.4. It's been a while and I want that high back in the average. I'd like to see several 2.4s in the near future, too. I'm not one of those that wants the ratings to sink far enough for GH to die. I'm from the other camp. I want GH to rise...from the ashes, if you must. Eternal optimist. Strangely, I am.
Did they rise or just pop back up to where they were before the ending awesomeness of NS?

I still contend GH had a dip because people were so happy with the ending of NS they didn't want to ruin their soap euphoria by watching the mothership. (Hey I can't be the only one.)

Now interestingly enough that 12-17 demo popped from last to first. Perhaps NS did manage go gather up a nice collection of new viewers that all made their way back to the mothership. Now let's see if TPTB can keep them.

I'm not sure if any correlation between NS2 and GH can be made, directly. However, I can only state, for me peronally, the only reason I EVAH turned GH back on was because of NS2. While I'm looking the the story recaps I want, take a look at the new November promo. We're all back to mob mob mob mob mob. Guess the Scrubs go back on the shelf and backburner. Whacha think about this, Jim?

Yeah, this is the week of ratings I want. Rather than post story synopsis for this week, let's just do this. Thanks Soapnet. That was rather handy.

So my question is this...There were many stories, not well gelled in my opinion, but there was a great balance in the stories (whether or not they were blended well). It seems like there was something for everyone, at one point during the week. So Scrubs wedding, Sonny stabbed, and the Zzzzzs meltdown/showdown. Is this an answer, Jim? Whahca think about that?
Backshelf? Scrubs seems very front and center to me. I've never seen Mac on screen so often as I had last week. The connection strengthening between Matt and Patrick And JJY doing great work. Finola too (thank God they're writing a little more NS style for her ).

But for me, hands down, Scotty and Laura. Just loved all of that history. And Lulu bringing out the memory book with actual photos. Laura and Luke will say goodbye and Scotty will be with Laura, I believe.

The Mob? Not that much. When I saw actual water on the set, I knew SOMEONE was going in!
