Question.. How come Noah the father of the groom wasn't at the almost wedding?

I believe after the whole "Matt Hunter is my long lost abandoned brother" storyline, Patrick dropped Noah like a hot potato. I think Noah then went back to Doctors without Borders while Rick Springfield continued his new music tour. :) I heard rumor that he is supposed to help with the new baby and possibly be involved with the second wedding.

I hope they do continue with the Matt Hunter/Patrick Drake relationship. I really liked their interactions during the faux wedding and birth of the baby. I liked Maxie's inclusion of him at the birth. I also liked Robin's inclusion of Spinelli, making him an honorary uncle. I like this whole group, really. They are a mixed/matched patchwork quilt family. Get me Robert in this scene as quick as you can and I think I'm sold. Also keep mysterious magnificent writer at the helm and let them perfect this story presentation to Sri Rao heights and I'm so there.
